Michael Berkeley

I designed and built a website to catalogue the work of composer Michael Berkeley, which comprises over 120 pieces spanning four decades. The site is based on a MySQL database that stores information about works, recordings and events. It is custom-coded using PHP, HTML, Javascript and CSS. A separate web-based control panel allows for content management.

Michael's compositions have been internationally performed, including at the BBC Proms, by leading orchestras and chamber groups. He is the presenter of BBC Radio 3's long-running Private Passions. He was appointed a CBE for services to music in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2012, and in 2013 appointed a non-party political member of the House of Lords.
